A plan for a subdivision of 11 lots on the land owned by Joseph H. Curtis. This plan was probably drawn and developed by Curtis himself although that has not been verified. Later plans include a different lay out for the sub-division. Lots of land sold to Harte are noted on this plan. The original Asticou Lodge with both buildings, connected by a covered ramp, is shown. The "curtis cottage" and annex at the shore, between the properties of Peabody and Wheelwright are shown. 2 copies of the map are included in this record.

This drawer contain papers related to several different transactions apparently in Boston and not related to properties in Northeast Harbor. It also includes correspondence from Curtis to Mr. Wheelwright, dated July 14, 1902, related to the cost and properties of an acre of land along the east shore of Northeast Harbor. Pressed board with brass handles. Originally found stacked on shelf next to bookcase in study at Thuya Lodge. Removed from the Lodge and taken to the Preserve offices for storing. Probably used to store various papers and records by Joseph Curtis.

Two of a set of ten small drawers. No labels on front of drawers. These two drawers are 1" and smaller than the rest of the drawers in the set. Pressed board with brass handles. Box contains records, correspondence, mortgage deed, and notes related to Charles Lewando, Cambridge, MA. Much of the records are 1870-1877. It appears from these records that Curtis was the executor of the estate of Lewando who died in 1877. It is thought that perhaps Lewando is related to the future wife of Curtis, Amelie Lewandoska. This needs to be researched and verified. Originally found stacked on shelf next to bookcase in study at Thuya Lodge. Removed from the Lodge and taken to the Preserve offices for storing. A copy of the will of Joseph Henry Curtis with an original Probate Court seal, dated August 7, 1929. The will was dated March 10, 1928 and includes a codicial that was added at that time. Will was probably drafted by an attorney, probably Harry Marshall, as listed in the witnesses of the will. This will was probably originally drafted in 1927 and is a registered certified copy used to settle the estate at the time of death.
