Pressed board with brass handles.
Box contains a selection ofcorrespondence, invoices, and estimates to erect a building on a lot owned by Curtis on Main Street, Northeast Harbor. The contents are an exchange between Curtis and E.A. Hodgdon, Builder, mostly from 1919. A floor plan, penciled on drafting paper, is included.
Originally found stacked on shelf next to bookcase in study at Thuya Lodge. Removed from the Lodge and taken to the Preserve offices for storing.
Probably used to store various papers and records by Joseph Curtis.
