This drawer contained papers related to the funding and construction of a sidewalk that went from the Asticou Inn to the home of President Eliot, across the street from the entrance to Asticou Terraces. This box also contains records that indicate there was further work done to extend this sidewalk to lands owned by Wheelwright and Tunis. See relations tab for other records related to this topic.

Originally found stacked on shelf next to bookcase in study at Thuya Lodge. Removed from the Lodge and taken to the Preserve offices for storing.
Probably used to store various papers and records by Joseph Curtis.
