A set of photos of two carved wood gates that are located at the entry to the Thuya Garden. Gates were designed by Charles K. Savage who also carved the letterring on the gates. The balance of the gates, including all of the panels, were carved and built by Augustus Phillips. These gates were erected during the summer, 1960.
All of the photos attached to this record were taken by Robert Thayer, 2008, in preparation for use in the set of books published by the Garden Preserve that year. There is also a CD that contains all of the images . The CD is stored in the CD/DVD Storage Box. CD/DVD Box #1
