Title:
Exhibit Labels, Thuya Lodge-Charles K. Savage History Exhibit
Type:
Label
Description:
A set of 6 different exhibit labels used in an exhibit located in the Savage Room, second floor, Thuya Lodge. The exhibit was of the works and historical relationship of Charles K. Savage to the Thuya property.
Included are labels for a painting, a carved sign, and a wood block that were on loan from Charles K. Savage, Jr. These items probably do not currently exist in the Preserve collection but this needs to be researched.
Included are three labels used to describe two aspects of the Savage influence: Citizen and Island Promoter, Hardscape and Landscape Designer, and Architect and Builder.
