Savage and probably typed by his wife, Katharine Savage. Portions of the text from this manuscript also appear in a report to Mr. John D. Rockefeller, Jr. that was written in 1958 by Mr. Savage. document details early plans for an expanded Azalea Garden and a collection of plants at Thuya.
