Built in 1820, original owner Major Manchester of Northeast Harbor. The oldest house in Northeast Harbor, built by the Manchester Family, one of the first settlers in the area. Addition circa 1900 by Fred Savage - arched windows in dormer. 1930's L. Keyes owner. 1986 owner: estate of Mrs. Henry Platt. Other owners: Pierrepont, Kirkland. Several village of Northeast Harbor. A few cottage sites are identified. f: Northeast Harbor Swim Club with a canoe in the pool and a large number of people surrounding it. g: Looking across Somes Sound from Indian Head. h: Toward Somes Sound and Flying and Acadia Mountains from "Westover" on Schoolhouse Ledge.
