This manuscript was found among the papers of Joseph Curtis when he bequested his property to the Town of Mount Desert. Mathilde is the sister of Amelia Lewandowski Curtis, wife of Joseph Curtis and mother of the Curtis child. A set of architectural drawings, materials specifications, and correspondence related to the addition of a shed to the work building at the Asticou Azalea Garden, 1987. Shed was designed by Robert W. Patterson and built by C.E. Bucklin Company.

Description: A set of architectural drawings, materials specifications, and correspondence related to the addition of a shed to the work building at the Asticou Azalea Garden, 1987. Shed was designed by Robert W. Patterson and built by C.E. Bucklin Company.
A set of papers related to the funding campaign, construction, and completion of a sidewalk built in 1918 from the Asticou Inn to the entrance to "President Eliot's house." Includes: invoices from E.A. Hodgdon, minutes of a meeting of the Asticou Sidewalk Committee of the Village Improvement Society, a checkbook for the committee, and cancelled checks related to the work that was completed on the sidewalk construction.These papers were removed from a drawer/box kept in the Study, Thuya Lodge and accessioned under this Object ID number. See relations tab. Curtis was the Treasurer of the committee.
