A copy of the study of the Lodge Library books by Thomas Lange, rare book expert and resident of Bar Harbor, 2008. Tom was asked to look at all of the books in the library and choose those that had some rare book or historical value beyond what the conditions of the Lodge and Preserve might support. He examined each book and compiled a list for us of those books that we might consider caring for more carefully, removing altogether, loaning to another institution with more public access, or selling. The list contains 34 titles, some of which are multi-volume sets under one title.
